[Website] Mark A Johnson grew up in Hawaii, and now divides his time between there and Australia. He started surfing as a young boy, and shortly thereafter started taking photographs of surfing and waves. His photography has appeared in print around the world for editorial and commercial clients. With his Wavescapes fine-art series of breaking ocean waves, he strives to bring the beauty and dynamics of powerful breaking waves to land bound viewers. Using natural lighting and hard to get at angles from both water and land, his work has been seen by thousands of people globally.
