Earlier this month, ArtPrinstopia.com photographer Mark Johnson took 2nd place in the Defenders of Life Photo Contest for his Hawaiian wave photo called Ke’e Kurve taken at Ke’e beach in Kauai. The photo was also featured in the Bing search engine home page last year. The photo contest, with nearly 8000 submissions, is in its 3rd year and helps bring awareness to the beauty of our surroundings and the need to continue to protect it so future generations can enjoy it as we have! The winning entries are amazing and remind us how incredibly remarkable this planet is. Congrats and a big thank you to photographers like Mark Johnson who capture the beauty for all of us to enjoy (although being there can’t be duplicated 🙂 The Ke’e Kurve will be available here at Artprintstopia very soon! You won’t be able to get it mounted to acrylic, aluminum or bamboo anywhere else so stay tuned! While Mark is our wave photo guru here at Artprintstopia and has provided some spectacular wave photos available for mounting, there are many great travel images to choose from as well.
